Epoch assures unlimited supportLAWASSURE: New on-line service for legal documents backed by telephone supportEpoch Software, the company behind Desktop Lawyer, has launched what it claims is the first on-line service offering unlimited access to legal documents and telephone support for both individuals and businesses.Its new subscription-based service, LawAssure, offers unlimited access to the law, covering documents and legal support.
Legal expenses insurance is also available.It is available as LawAssure Business (399 + VAT a year), providing support for small to medium enterprises, and LawAssure Personal (99 a year) for individuals.Subscribers receive unlimited access to a range of 'intelligent' legal documents which have been drafted by more than 40 barristers from 11 Stone Buildings.For business, there is access to Desktop Lawyer agreements covering areas such as employment, agency, the supply of goods, shareholders, confidentiality, distribution, partnership, and terms and conditions of sale.The personal product covers areas such as wills and probate, divorce, selling a car, general powers of attorney, property agreements, tenancy agreements and National Lottery syndicate agreements.LawAssure also provides access to what it says is the largest-ever legal guide on the Internet, based on material from the College of Law.Telephone support is made available through a collaboration with First Assist Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Royal & Sun Alliance.Legal expenses insurance from Royal & Sun Alliance is the final element of the service.
