Fighting talkTo the swish Caf Royale and the enjoyable annual dinner of the British Association of Sport and Law, where loquacious barrister and sports law guru Edward Grayson finally met his match - in the talking stakes at least.
His admirable foe was none other than former middleweight world boxing champion Chris Eubank, who swaggered into the dinner and proceeded to spend the next 50 minutes (it may have been more, but Obiter quietly ducked out at this point) pontificating at great length on the many things in the world which offended him - chief among which being a lack of respect shown towards all things Eubank.
The monocled one may be in line to be the world's first dual boxing/talking championship, but failed the first test for after-dinner speakers at sports events: be entertaining.
Of course, this was not a point Obiter felt inclined to raise at the time, as Mr Eubank looks to have kept himself, and the many muscles rippling under his tailored suit, in fine shape.
