Free advice on complaints handling and complaints avoidance

Mike Frith, a Compliance Officer, who operates the Office for the Supervision of Solicitors' Lawyer Line service is available (by prior arrangement) to talk free of charge to solicitors on complaints handling and complaints avoidances.
Mr Frith has 28 years' experience in private practice, five years' experience as a senior complaints handler at the OSS and two years' experience of lecturing all over the country on complaints handling and avoidance.
He is currently, and has been for the past ten years, the honourary secretary of his local law society.
The lectures will deal with the day-to-day nuts and bolts of the issues, rather than dwelling on the theory.
This is achieved by illustrating the talks with actual examples, and by giving practical advice on how solicitors can achieve the objective of eliminating complaints from their practices.
The complaints handling talk supplements, and expands upon, the recently-issued booklet Handling Complaints Effectively.
