Funny guy...

As unlikely as it seems, this month sees the annual funniest lawyer competition at a New York comedy club.

Among the contestants, according to the New York Law Journal, will be Julian Kaufman, a landlord and tenant lawyer in the Bronx who boasts of having gone head-to-head with Jerry Seinfeld when the two shared a class in comedy at college.

Mr Kaufman told the paper that his routine has a fair proportion of groaners, like the one about the contracts lawyer who had a breach baby.

He also tells audiences that he is missing a continuing professional development class in ethics to perform for them...

but that he paid a guy $10 to take it for him.
