May I reassure Joe Timothy of the Land Registry that it is never a ‘burden’ to receive a copy of the title plan when a registration has been completed (see [2004] Gazette, 4 June, 14).

At the very least, this saves shuffling through the documents on file to find an older copy to assist in checking the title entries, to keep with the deeds, and to send to the client.


On the contrary, the registry’s current policy is perceived as penny-pinching and unhelpful.
