Habits die hard Obiter has regularly had cause to note over the years how those serial accountant-lovers Christopher Tite and Mark Lewis (who currently hold Ernst & Young most dear in their affections) are unable to resist going back to their former firm - City practice Stephenson Harwood - to staff their new firms, associated with one or other of the Big Five accountants.
But after hiring loads of partners and assistants with SH backgrounds, Mr Tite happily pointed out to us a few months ago that they had brought in their first non-SH partner; and others have since followed.
