Hair-raising advice Is London East End firm Sykes Anderson considering branching out into the beauty business, Obiter wondered last week? Speaking to a Gazette reporter about its latest Web-based marketing strategy (see page 8), partner David Anderson advocated looking at haircare giant Schwarzkopf's Web site.
'It's got some great haircare tips,' he gushed.
It all became clearer when Mr Anderson revealed all about the firm's latest marketing ploy - providing hairdressers with legal advice on the site.
Respect for Mr Anderson's wheeling and dealing reached a plateau when, unable to take off his promotional hat, he joked: 'Give us a good write-up and I'll get you a free haircut at a top salon.' Obiter, whose barnet looks just fine, thank you very much, gracefully declined.
