Hitting the high notes

Following last week's profile of the Isle of Wight's top solicitor rock band, Brief Encounter, our latest lawyer-by-day, musician-by-night is legal executive Nigel Salmon, who apparently 'hits the right note' at Hampshire firm Warner Goodman & Streat.

Mr Salmon is also something of a one-man industrial revolution - the press release says that apart from being an experienced woodwind player, he 'enjoys building his own yachts, cars and motorbikes'.

The PR people further earned their corn by revealing the important fact that our man once 'worked on a case involving the importers of a racing bicycle saddle which split mid-race with devastating consequences.' Now that's what Obiter calls product liability.
