Hot property
Pinsent Curtis Biddle property partner Andrew Yates has a thing for the double entendre, we suspect.
The mainstay of the firm's in-house band, subtly named 'Heavy Petting', he recently put together a group of Birmingham property professionals for a one-off gig that raised 2,500 for Birmingham Children's Hospital.
'Hot Property', we are told, performed a Blues Brothers-style repertoire.
Mr Yates (left) tells Obiter that he was keen to give Bob the Builder a run for his money.
Now there's a challenge.
Pinsents colleague Maria O'Brien (with the microphone) was the other legal profession member of the band.
