HSBC has agreed a protocol with the Law Society and the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners aimed at speeding up the probate process. The protocol, which follows one agreed earlier this year with Lloyds TSB, lists all the documents and information the banks require from solicitors and vice-versa.
