In tune:
Whether a niche employment law firm should be promoting an all-women choir might normally be a contentious issue, but in the context of St Paul's Cathedral, London firm Jones & Warner is just correcting an ancient imbalance.
The cathedral's choral tradition was founded on boy choristers and gentlemen singers, but in an effort to provide opportunities for women, Patrick Craig (centre) founded Aurora Nova in 1996.
The choir consists of the cream of young female vocal talent in Britain, who are both soloists and representatives of various other leading choirs.
The firm is sponsoring the choir to sing Schubert's Mass in G as part of the City of London Festival later this month.
