Ince & Co expands with offices in Le Havre and Paris

City shipping specialist Ince & Co has opened offices in Le Havre - the first UK firm to have a presence there - and Paris.The offices, scheduled to open next month, follow the opening in October of a Hamburg office to cover north Europe and Scandinavia.

The firm already has a presence in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore and Piraeus.The Le Havre office will mainly serve the firm's shipping clients, according to Chris Moore, the partner overseeing the new offices from London.

'We have a large shipping practice, and Le Havre is a substantial container port,' he said.

'The new office will be able to provide a full service to shipping clients both in the Le Havre area and further afield.'The Paris office will have a broader remit, according to Mr Moore, and focus on a number of different practices.

'Paris is a major insurance and arbitration centre, both areas which we will be concentrating on,' he said.Victoria MacCallum
