l society advice on electronic mailThe Law Society has re-released its e-mail guidelines offering firms a framework which they can adapt to suit their own circumstances.

A system is in place to redirect anyone who uses the old site.

l cuff roberts invests 250,000 in GalaxyLiverpool firm Cuff Roberts has announced a 250,000 investment in Sanderson's legal practice and case management system Galaxy, as well as around 90 new PC workstations.

The firm will now extend its use of case management software throughout the practice.

l collett to join Harries hall as IT headKent law firm Cripps Harries Hall has recruited Tanya Collett, who was formerly development manager at City giant Lovells, as head of its IT department (legal practice).

Ms Collett said she would be focusing on client dealrooms, a knowhow system and redesign of the firm's IT systems.
