l COLLINS PULLS PLUG ON CC ROLE Brian Collins, Clifford Chance's international IT director, will leave at the end of the year, the firm has announced.
Mr Collins began advising the firm on IT matters early in 1998 and joined in August 1999.
He moved into his current position shortly after to steer the firm through the IT issues associated with the mergers with major US and German firms.
A Clifford Chance statement said: 'Brian now feels that with the merger behind the firm, and the combined firm's systems now largely in place, it is time to move on to new challenges.'

The product, developed in association with legal software specialist Pracctice, is aimed at small and mid-sized law firms.
Employing the same technical platform as Pracctice's Osprey system and based on pre-determined workflows, the system guides users through all stages of a transaction or case, automating many of the key tasks, including document generation and form filling, and allows full access to information instantly.
