Confidence among job seekers in the legal sector remains high 'despite the hype surrounding the credit crunch', a survey of 1,206 candidates registered with recruitment consultancy totallylegal.com seen exclusively by the Gazette has revealed. Some 77% of candidates said they were 'more' or 'as likely' to find a new job in 2008 as in 2007, and 58% claimed they were not under additional pressure to perform to retain their jobs. A spokesman added that the market remained buoyant, with a 14% increase in the number of jobs posted on the site this year.
