The SDT imposed a penalty of 500 on the respondent, of Cross Ho, Summerhill, Kingswinford, West Midlands DY6 9JE, who practised on his own account, for unbefitting conduct, in that he had failed to comply with a direction of the OSS consequent on a finding of inadequate professional service; and he had failed to reply to correspondence from the OSS.

The respondent had complied with the direction subsequent to the filing of the application, albeit not within the specified time scale.

The respondent was ordered to pay costs (to be assessed).
