Law Society non-constituency seat for residential conveyancing

A ballot is about to take place for a non-constituency Law Society Council member to represent residential conveyancing.

Voting papers will be sent out not later than 22 September 2001 to those solicitors who are on the circulation list for the residential conveyancing newsletter and to those solicitors who register their wish to vote in this election.

Only members of the Law Society are eligible to vote in the ballot.

Those members practising in the field of residential conveyancing and who wish to vote should notify Elizabeth Kwok, Corporate Administration, The Law Society, 113 Chancery Lane, London WC2A 1PL (Tel: 020 7320 5736; Fax: 020 7320 5759; elizabeth.kwok@lawsociety.org.uk) by not later than 31 August 2001.
