A collection of the best of the Queen's Counsel cartoon strip - which has featured in the law pages of The Times since 1993 - is now available. Authored by Alex Steuart Williams, a former barrister-turned-cartoonist and feature film animator, and Graham Francis Defries, an intellectual property partner at US/UK firm Dechert, the collection offers proof, if any more were needed, that there is much in the legal profession to poke fun at. Sadly, the collection does not feature our favourite cartoon, in which legendary silk Geoffrey Bentwood is faced with a crisis at home after his wife is disgusted to find, wrapped in plain brown paper in their son's sock draw, a copy of none other than the Gazette.
