Last night saw the cream of the legal crop (and some journalists) don their best summer wear and come together for the 46th Legal Charities Garden Party. The garden party, which was founded to fundraise for lawyers in need and their dependents, featured much chat and drum-banging in the sumptuous surroundings of Lincoln’s Inn. And, miraculously, the sun stayed out (we have evidence).
