The SDT imposed a penalty of 1,000 on the respondent, of 32 Versailles Rd, London SE20 8AX, who was a sole practitioner, for unbefitting conduct in that he had failed to reply to correspondence from other solicitors and from the OSS; and, following the termination of a retainer, he had failed promptly (or within a reasonable time) to hand over client papers to the solicitors retained by the client.

The respondent was ordered to pay 1,333 costs.
