LSC must tune in

Having returned to full-time legal practice following an enjoyable mid-term break, I have a question.

If a client rings me and I spend 25 minutes singing silly little tunes and ditties to him or her, I suspect that it would not be long before I was in a psychiatrist's chair and perhaps being justifiably certified and sent to a psychiatric unit.Why then, and how, does the Legal Services Commission get away with it - and will it accept reverse-charge calls?Martin Sparkes, Daltons Solicitors, Petersfield, Hampshire
