Mark of a celebrity
Wherever Mark Stephens pops up he is described as 'ubiquitous'.
He created a media law firm, Stephens Innocent, in the 1980s that always punched above its relatively small size until he was bitten by the merger bug and signed up with London property specialists Finers.
Known as the 'lawyer on the telly', Mr Stephens himself boasts of being routinely recognised by cabbies.
Now someone has become so obsessed with him that an Internet rant has been devoted to perhaps England's most recognisable solicitor.
Angryharry.com, a Web site operated by an 'anti-feminist', has a section entitled 'Mark Stephens - who is this man?' In it, Harry says that Mr Stephens has been described as a media lawyer, an expert on family law, an international lawyer, an Internet specialist lawyer, an art law specialist solicitor, a human rights lawyer, and as a 'dot.com lawyer'.
Harry says: 'It seems as if this man is an expert on everything...
this guy is amazing'.
It is unlikely that Mr Stephens would disagree.
