Previously at Masons, he will join the corporate/commercial team.The German branch of Norton Rose - Norton Rose Vieregge - has achieved two lateral hires: tax law specialist Uwe Hartmann leaves sole practice (having previously been at Linklaters Oppenhoff & Rdler) to join the Frankfurt office, while Alexander von Bergwelt moves across Munich from local firm Arcon to join the corporate finance team.Back home, Clifford Chance has lost two lawyers to City rivals.
Corporate finance specialist Richard Lewis joins Lovells as a partner and Edward Norman becomes a partner in the property team at DJ Freeman.Mayfair firm Forsters now has 21 partners following the recruitment of corporate and insolvency lawyer Jeremy Whiteson from Rooks Rider.Jeremy Boyle, formerly with City-based Judge Sykes Frixou, has joined the London office of Curry Popeck as head of the corporate recovery department and taking the firm's partnerships to six.US firm Brobeck Hale & Dorr has promoted English-qualified tax specialist Simon Court to partner in its London office.City firm Taylor Joynson Garrett has appointed intellectual property (IP) lawyer Gary Moss as its new managing partner.
He succeeds Declan Tarpey, who will return to the finance and projects group after his three-year term.
Anna Clark has been promoted to partner in the social housing team of London firm Winckworth Sherwood, becoming its 21st partner.North Wales firm Clement Jones has promoted three partners.
Simon Brennan and Sue Wilkinson (both clinical negligence) take up partnership at the Deeside office, while criminal lawyer Sandra Subbachi will work out of the Wrexham office.

Leaving Bristol is commercial property lawyer Rob Chapman, who has swapped Osborne Clarke for Bournemouth-based Lester Aldridge.Moving along the coast, Brighton firm DMH now has 33 partners following three promotions: Michael Mulcare and Ciaran McCabe (both personal injury) and Alex Chester (media).Rebecca Todd, a personal injury partner at south coast firm Daltons, has been appointed managing partner owing to restructuring which sees founder partner Michael Dalton become senior partner overseeing business development.Basingstoke firm Lamb Brooks has promoted Julie Burton to partner in its private client team.
The firm now has 13 partners.Surrey-based Mundays has two new partners with the promotion of Ingrid Saffin (commercial property) and Sarah Allen (employment).In Kent, Tunbridge Wells firm Thomson Snell & Passmore has 35 partners after promoting David Brown (property construction) and Stuart Goodbody (private client).In Birmingham, Martineau Johnson has recruited IP litigator Helen Driscoll as partner from Freethcartwright.Staffordshire firm Stevens has scooped up David Fletcher from Barker Beswick Moon to head its Crown Court department in Stoke-on-Trent.
He takes the firm's partnership to six.Commercial property lawyer Anthony Sacks has joined Manchester firm Rowe Cohen as a partner from Glaisyers.Leaving Manchester is litigation and dispute resolution lawyer Paul Morton who joins Brabners from Halliwell Landau.
