New perspective:
Some firms are so committed to their clients that if, in US sergeant-major style, their lawyers are told to get on the floor and give the clients 50 press-ups, they do so.
That, at least, is one interpretation of this picture from the Sheffield office of Nabarro Nathanson.
The firm's preferred explanation was they were enjoying stretching exercises as part of its 'Get fit in June' campaign (leaving them free to lounge around scoffing as many Mars bars as they want the rest of the year, presumably).
'A qualified therapist is visiting the offices to carry out head and shoulder massages to soothe tired minds,' the firm proudly announced; wouldn't a few days off do the trick somewhat better, we wonder? Lest we become too cynical, Obiter is pleased to note that the upper echelons of the firm are setting a more strenuous example than lying around the floor.
'It's been very popular, a lot of fun, and I've even had a go on an exercise bike myself,' the firm's office head, Mike Renger, bragged.
