Outsourced transcription services provider Voicepath has agreed a collaboration with digital dictation provider WinScribe to make its services and solutions available through WinScribe's resellers in the UK and abroad.

Fee-earners will be able to choose, either at the point of dictation or later, to send work to Voicepath for transcription from a WinScribe system.

The system provides a layer of support in addition to in-house secretarial support services.

BHIS has released version one of Scan2Email, a pc-based software package that scans paper documents and e-mails them as PDF attachments using a firm's existing e-mail software.

The package produces small, highly compressed PDF files that can be encrypted with a password.
