he Northamptonshire Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has become the first CPS area to launch its own Web site, aimed at criminal justice professionals and members of the public, to raise awareness of its activities.
The site will contain up-to-date information on current caseloads, casework results and CPS policies on race-related crime, homophobic crime and domestic violence.
It will also provide details of multi-agency targets and joint working initiatives.
Colin Chapman, Chief Crown Prosecutor for Northamptonshire, said: 'CPS Northamptonshire plays a central role in the local criminal justice system, but the majority of people do not come into contact with its work. Anyone with a computer and Internet access will now be able to get to know us better.'
