Rachael Miranda Archer, practising as Archer & CoOn 22 August 2001, the compliance and supervision committee of the Law Society resolved to intervene in the practice of Rachael Miranda Archer who practised at 560-568 High Road, Tottenham, London N17 9TA under the firm name Archer & Co.Cathy Woolhouse of Osmond Gount & Rose of Winston House, 349 Regents Park Road, London N3 1DH, tel: 020 8349 0321 has been appointed to act as the Law Society's agent and she took possession of all practice papers on 24 August 2001.Following the intervention, which was based on the grounds of bankruptcy, Kevin Martin, chairman of the professional regulation and adjudication panel, agreed to suspend the notice of intervention for seven days from 30 August 2001, allowing Ms Archer the opportunity to dispose of her practice.

This decision was made following receipt by the Law Society of a bankruptcy annulment order.Ms Archer successfully complied with Mr Martin's decision on 30 August 2001 in that she disposed of her practice of Archer & Co in full to Pollecoff Solicitors of London.

Therefore, the committee resolved to withdraw the notice of intervention into Archer & Co.
