Doran & CoOn 11 September 2001, the compliance and supervision committee of the Law Society resolved to intervene in the practice of Vincent Doran, who practised at 45 Woodmansterne Road, Coulsdon, Surrey, under the firm name Doran & Co.Nigel Coates of Messrs Russell-Cooke Potter & Chapman of 2 Putney Hill, Putney, London, SW15 6AB, tel: 020 8789 9111, has been appointed to act as the Law Society's agent and he took possession of all Doran & Co practice papers on 14 September 2001.G J Hewitt & CoOn 10 October 2001, the professional regulation adjudication panel resolved to intervene in Graham John Hewitt's practice of G J Hewitt & Co.

He practised at New England Solicitor's Chambers, New England House, 555 Lincoln Road, Peterborough, PE1 2PB.The matter has proceeded to a full intervention and we have appointed David Fowler of Toller Hales & Colcutt as agents.

The firm's address is 55 Headlands, Kettering, Northamptonshire, NN15 7EX.The firm has taken possession of all practice papers and monies.Correction The agent for the intervention in the firm of Bains & Partners, of 91 Balham High Road, London SW12 9AP was incorrect (see [2001] Gazette, 11 October, 50).
