There is not usually much capital to be had out of sponsoring amateur football teams, especially if they play in the not-very-dizzy heights of Division One of the Meadowhall League around Sheffield.

However, Brunsmeer Athletic is no ordinary football club; it famously numbers ex-England internationals David Hirst and Chris Waddle as first-team regulars.

So, at what we imagine was a snip compared to sponsoring a professional team, local firm Taylor & Emmet has scored quite a coup.
