Rowe & Maw kicks off campaign at World Cup qualifier
The legend 'Rowe & Maw, Lawyers for Business' joined drinks companies and sportswear manufacturers on the revolving perimeter advertising at last week's Greece v England World Cup qualifier, which was watched by more than 11 million people.The City firm's head of marketing, Chris Pullen, said the feedback generated by the 30,000 advertising campaign had been 'phenomenal'.Said Mr Pullen: 'Whether we will gain any business as a direct result of the campaign is unknown,' he said, 'but the increased name recognition can only be favourable'.Rowe & Maw is to continue its sporting approach by advertising on hoardings at the forthcoming Ashes Test match at the Oval.
Following the success of the football, Mr Pullen said the firm would be 'looking for similar opportunities'.Hammonds Suddards Edge acts for the Football League and advertised at the divisional play-offs at the Millennium Stadium last month as a 'show of support'.Sports partner Peter Millichip said: 'I think the returns for law firms are minimal when they advertise in such a way.
