Legal recruitment giant TMP is using an interesting advert for its own big recruitment push.

'It's up to you how far you push the boundaries' the advert declares, next to a picture of a goldfish in a blender.

The blender is switched off, but the implication is that - at the switch of a button - the fish could end up pured.

To lawyers looking for a job change from the shark-tanks of the City's top law firms, does the appeal of being a small goldfish in a smaller - if more perilous - pond appeal? Apparently so, according to TMP consultant John O'Brien, who says the advert has had positive feedback, although he adds nervously it may get animal rights people complaining.
