News just in of the latest hazardous charity jaunt by a solicitor, this time up to the frozen north (not Scotland).

Andrew Sparrow, head of Lecote Solicitors in Birmingham, is off to the Arctic Circle, where he will attempt a 150-mile trek in seven days with the aid of six Husky dogs.

Mr Sparrow, who seems to be taking a rather relaxed and dog-free approach to preparation for the expedition to judge by this picture, has form in this area with previous charity exploits including a wing walk on a biplane and a 12,000ft skydive.

He is raising funds for Birmingham-based charities, The Foundation for Conductive Education and The Children's Liver Disease Foundation.

To sponsor him, or to ask him to do the leg-work on setting up a Greenland office, tel: 0121 632 2285 or e-mail: law@lecote.com.
