Sticking to gizmos
It is not often that we can report on solicitors at the forefront of technological innovation, but you should never reckon without top City lawyer Ronnie Fox.
Mr Fox is renowned for his love of gadgets, Obiter's favourite being the long-distance lorry driver ear-piece which buzzes when a sleepy head drops towards the horizontal - useful for those long partnership meetings, presumably.
Last December, Mr Fox wrote to the Financial Times in praise of how 'office life is transformed by essential aids to productivity such as my electric letter-opener, electric stapler and electric hole-punch'.
He concluded: 'My continuing search for the gadget lover's Holy Grail, the electric adhesive tape dispenser, helps to make life worth living.' Obiter is now thrilled to report that just last week, Mr Fox located and purchased an electric adhesive tape dispenser.
It's nice to know that such simple pleasures make his life complete.
