The South West Accident Network (SWAN) is inviting as many as 30 law firms to join its network in a bid to bolster its advertising budget.
The SWAN group, which has 21 member firms in the south-west region, stretching from Devon to the Cornish Peninsula, wants the extra members primarily to boost its ability to compete with the large claims management companies.
Darren White, the network's chairman and an associate at Bevan Ashford, said that if SWAN gained the extra members, it would have an estimated advertising budget of £500,000.
Mr White added that SWAN could grow beyond the region if this initial expansion drive was successful.
