Three and easy as Leeds solicitor wins planning honour A Leeds solicitor is celebrating after planning solicitors and consultants rated him the best practitioner in the field for the third year running.Peter Wilbraham, partner at Wilbraham & Co, came top in Planning magazine's annual survey of UK planning lawyers.
His niche firm came second in the league table of law firms, pipped by pre-merger Berwin Leighton, which has won two planning awards in a week - see left.Mr Wilbraham described the accolade as a 'real tribute', adding: 'You only get there if you've got a really good team.'The survey also found that Denton Wilde Sapte was the third most popular law firm according to planning solicitors, while SJ Berwin & Co and Herbert Smith came in at fourth and fifth respectively.
A separate poll of barristers put Ashursts at number two after Berwin Leighton, followed by Herbert Smith, with Eversheds and Nabarro Nathanson sharing joint fourth place.
