Three-sy does it as Thesis builds up investment workThe financial services arm of south-east law firm Thomas Eggar Church Adams, which claims to be the UK's largest solicitor investment manager, has acquired the investment management business of three other law firms in the region.
Thesis Asset Management has bought the businesses of Southampton firm Moore & Blatch, representing in excess of 50 million of clients' money, Brighton and East Sussex-based Griffith Smith, with 30 million of client money, and the 20 million of client investment business of Surrey firm Tuck & Mann, now part of Triggs Wilkinson & Mann.Thesis now has new offices in Brighton and Guildford to add to those in London, Chichester, Horsham, Lymington, Reigate and Worthing.
It now has more than 500 million of funds under management and 20 investment managers.
Anthony Wands, Thesis's managing director, said: 'We have trebled the number of our business referrers, as we now have special relationships with several solicitor firms.'Neil Rose
