Twin peaks
The phrase 'get fit for litigation' has been heard more than once in recent years, but Pinsent Curtis Biddle associate Pauline Munro (below) has taken it to extremes.
Ms Munro recently competed for England in the world mountain running trophy, requiring her to cope with an 8.5km race in the very wet Italian Dolomites, which included a 590-metre climb.
She finished 49th out of 90 in just under 47 minutes.
The English women's team was 11th overall out of 25 nations.
Obiter is grateful for Ms Munro's efforts if for no other reason that it now means Pinsents has a sporting claim other than the oft-repeated fact that triple Olympic rowing gold medallist Matthew Pinsent is the great-grandson of its founder.
