Waste Not Want Not

Like other solicitors' firms, we too receive at least a dozen envelopes per week from a leading provider of continuing professional development.

We too had correspondence with the company concerned requesting a reduction in the deluge, without success.

We have therefore devised our own form of recycling.

We use the bottom two-thirds of the high-quality white envelopes as 'nose bags' for documentation in our legal aid files, and all one side only letters and flyers are placed in a bull dog-type clip and used as scrap.

I use a lot of scrap for rough notes and since using this system have never run out.
