Who says working at the Law Society lacks glamour? Having advised on story lines for long-running radio show 'The Archers', Roger Ede - former secretary to the Society's criminal law committee and currently its international projects group leader - has now been invited by long-term fan of the agri-drama, Prince Charles, to a party to celebrate the show's 50th anniversary.
Mr Ede has been advising on story lines for some years.
Who could forget the newspaper campaign to 'Free Susan Carter' after she was sent down for helping brother Clive Horobin avoid capture after his prison break or Tommy Archer's protest against genetically modified food? As all solicitors know, Chancery Lane and drama just go hand in hand.
