Newcastle-based firm Dickinson Dees has formed a two-way link with the National Land Information Service (NLIS), the government initiative to automate and integrate the provision of land and property information, through the Searchflow Pisces-based Interface (SPI).

The interface means the firm can send search requests electronically to Searchflow, saving time and avoiding re-keying errors that can occur with more traditional methods, as well as receiving the information back directly into its case management system.

The Welsh Development Agency has chosen Axxia to deliver a major systems rollout to support its land development and legal services department.

Axxia won the tender to supply a practice and case management solution to the department, which carries out commercial property and commercial law work on behalf of the agency.

The contract will see the deployment of Axxia's practice management system and 21 desktops.

Regional firm Edwards Geldard has chosen Thomson Elite's Elite practice and financial management system.

The firm has also opted for the Elite WebView browser-based platform, which allows users to access accurate information, from a location and time of their choosing.

Commercial insolvency specialist LCL Group has become one of the first users of Linetime's Managed Service Provision (MSP).

MSP provides users with all hardware, system software and application software as a fully managed service.

LCL chose Debtime SQL as its debt recovery software.

Specialist litigation firm Chan O'Neill has chosen Aim Professional Systems' Evolution practice management system.

Evolution is being used by the City-based firm for legal accounting, time recording and document production.
