Davies & Partners is rolling out the Lawman practice and case management system to 175 users spread across its offices in Gloucester, Bristol and Birmingham.
Isle of Wight practice Eldridges has chosen Aim's Evolution practice management system and has plans to deploy Evolution File Management. The firm has also opted for on-line time recording, Word customisation and document generation and storage.
Newcastle-based Ward Hadaway has begun deployment of the WinScribe digital dictation workflow system from SRC across its 250 staff. The firm will also integrate the solution with its practice management system later this year. Manchester firm Donns has also opted for WinScribe.
Three north-east firms - Newcastle-based Sintons and Blackett Hart & Pratt, and County Durham firm Freeman Johnson - have opted for BigHand's digital dictation software.
Thorneycroft Solicitors in Macclesfield has invested £100,000 in an IT upgrade from Eclipse. The firm is implementing Eclipse's ProClaim case management software for 70 staff in its personal injury, conveyancing and probate departments. It is also rolling out the ProClaim accounts software, supported by new firm-wide hardware infrastructure.
National firm Russell Jones & Walker has invested in a bespoke will-writing system from Documents Plus (DPL). The desktop system, constructed using the Chameleon document creation software, is the first time DPL's will-writing system has been customised for a UK law firm.
Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire firm Suremove Property Lawyers has opted for the DPS case management and cashier legal accounting systems. It has also chosen the DPS Progress system, an Internet-based product which integrates with a case management system.
