Karen de Rocher joins the commercial conveyancing practice at Hatten Wyatt in Gravesend as a senior assistant from Raw & Co in Bromley, where she was a partner.


To Buckinghamshire, where family associate Nicole Simmons moves to B P Collins from Allan Janes in High Wycombe.

North-west firm Brabners Chaffe Street hires property assistant solicitor Sue Blakesley from Walker Morris in Leeds. She will be based in the Liverpool office.


In Lancashire, commercial litigation assistant Richard Kerr joins Greenhalghs in Wigan from Manchester’s Nexus.


In Leeds, associate Duncan Milwain leaves Addleshaw Goddard for the trusts, wills and estates department at Lupton Fawcett.

Consultants and Of Counsel

Richard Wright joins the UK corporate restructuring and bankruptcy group at City firm Reed Smith as Of Counsel from Linklaters.


Michael Blackmore, previously a partner at Battens in Yeovil, joins Milford & Dormor in Chard, where he becomes a conveyancing and probate consultant.

Bench

District Judge Dafydd Hughes, a solicitor, has been appointed circuit judge on the Wales and Chester circuit.


Three solicitors are appointed district judges: Mary Wakem (south-eastern circuit); Simon Middleton (midland circuit) and Ian Knifton (midland circuit).
