In Hull, Andrew Kingston-Splatt, previously partner and head of civil litigation at Hamers, has set up his own practice, Andrew Kingston & Co.

City firm Norton Rose has recruited projects associate Sirri Al-Kaylani from Denton Wilde Sapte.



Senior intellectual property solicitor Simon Bennett also leaves Denton Wilde Sapte for the London office of US firm Arnold & Porter.

Moving west, Cotswolds firm Kendall & Davies has hired property specialist Robert Draper, who was previously an associate at Cheltenham-based Willans.

Michael Connor, previously a partner in the Manchester office of Russell Jones & Walker, becomes an associate at claimant personal injury firm Fentons.



Former Halliwells assistant Gregory Gardner-Boyes has joined the commercial litigation team in Haworth & Nuttall’s Blackburn office.



In Leeds, newly-qualified Russell Burnett leaves DLA for the commercial property department at Cobbetts.
