Timothy Parsons: joins Kendall Freeman

Starting in the City, partner Timothy Parsons leaves Barlow Lyde & Gilbert to develop the banking and finance practice at City firm Kendall Freeman.


DLA takes on Eva Heffernan as a partner in its City financial regulatory team. She moves from the London office of US firm Wilmer Cutler & Pickering.



Leaving London is Ross Johnstone, who moves from Memery Crystal to IBB in Uxbridge as partner and head of the property investment and management team.



Two are promoted to partner at west country firm Ford Simey: Terry Falcao will head the employment practice, while Paul Kibbler becomes partner in charge of residential property.



David Tilly: Moves to Edwards Geldard

Back across the country, and litigators Louise Bland and Edward Powell are promoted at Ellisons in Colchester, taking the partnership to 14.


Personal injury lawyer Michael Wangermann has been promoted to partner in the Bury St Edmunds office of Ashton Graham.



A double corporate partner hire for Edwards Geldard in Nottingham from Eversheds’ office in the city: David Tilly and Ben Johnson.



Leaving City firm Plexus Law is Stephen Walsh, who joins Hill Dickinson’s London office as a partner in its industrial disease unit.

Marco Cocciante joins niche City shipping practice EG Arghyrakis & Co as an assistant solicitor from Bevan Ashford in Exeter.


Two assistant solicitors join Taylor Walton in Luton: Neelam Patel (company and commercial) from DMA Legal in London and Marlow, and Alison Woodall (commercial litigation) from Gordons in Yorkshire.



Three assistant solicitors join the Newbury office of Horsey Lightly Fynn: Andrew Story (company commercial) from Blake Lapthorn Linnell in Oxford; Barry Jameson (litigation) from Cumberland Ellis Piers’ London office; and Andrew Raven (planning) from environmental consultancy RPS. In Horsey’s Bournemouth office, Tim Driver joins the planning department from Blake Lapthorn Linnell in Fareham, while environmental specialist Phillip Young joins from Laceys in Bournemouth.

Carol McBride: joins as an assistant at Lodders

Stratford-upon-Avon firm Lodders has brought in private client assistant Carol McBride from Lester Dixon & Jeffcoate in Nuneaton.


Two join the corporate team at Edwards Geldard in Nottingham: senior associate Muneeb Dean from Hammonds in Birmingham and associate Helen Wilson from DLA in Birmingham.



James Harris qualifies into the commercial property practice at Chester-based Hillyer McKeown.



Suzanne Moore: leaves Cafes for O'Neil Patient

Swapping Chester for Manchester is corporate litigator Natalie Ingham, who moves to Mace & Jones after qualifying with Aaron & Partners.


At niche Manchester personal injury firm Express Solicitors, Razwana Akhtar joins from local firm Antony Hodari & Co, while Nicola Barrett is taken on after qualification.



Chris Davis moves to John Hardman & Co in Manchester as an assistant solicitor in the personal injury team, from Stockport firm Gorvins.



Elsewhere in Stockport, Suzanne Moore leaves Chafes, where she was a partner, to join the family practice at O’Neill Patient as a senior associate.



Quentin Duckworth: qualifies at Keoghs

Quentin Duckworth qualifies into the commercial property team at Keoghs in Bolton.


Across the Pennines, Margaret Allison and Catherine Jackson join the pensions team at Leeds firm Wrigleys from the Sheffield office of City firm Nabarro Nathanson. Ms Allison founded Nabarro’s pensions team in Sheffield back in 1994.
