In the City, Denton Wilde Sapte partner Rory McAlpine, head of the advocacy group, will become deputy chairman when the current chairman, James Dallas, relocates to the firm’s Dubai office in February.


Commercial property specialist Philip Matthews has been elected as the new managing partner of Wedlake Bell. He succeeds Julian Cuppage, who has held the post for the past ten years.



James Wilson, currently head of Ince & Co‘s marine casualty practice, will succeed Peter Rogan as the firm’s senior partner in the spring.
