In Yorkshire, Sheffield firm Taylor & Emmet appoints three solicitors: Rachel Houghton (commercial property and housing associations) from Cobbetts in Leeds; Peter Crawford (corporate finance) who was previously at Taylor Vintners in Cambridge; and Louise Conroy (employment) from Raleys in Barnsley.
In the Midlands, solicitor Roscoe Fernandes joins the employment team at Nottingham firm Berryman from Freeth Cartwright.
The London office of Plexus Law hires Emma Hockley as a professional indemnity solicitor from Shoosmiths.
Gary Yantin joins West End firm Wallace as a commercial property solicitor. He was previously in-house legal counsel at amusement arcades operator Talarius.
Further south, Kent firm Baileyfields appoints Roselyn Borg to its employment team. She was previously at Newsome Vaughan in Coventry.
Two are promoted to associate at Portsmouth-based Churchers: Mary Hazlewood (probate, wills, trust and tax) and Jane MacKenzie (childcare and family). The firm also promotes two criminal lawyers to senior solicitor: Adrian Dodd and Graham Hopley.
