The move to a larger office in the Grade II listed building 52 Newhall Street comes amidst growing demand from customers in the region, and is indicative of the full-service commercial firm’s commitment to further investment in the West Midlands, according to founder and chief executive Toby Harper.

Earlier this year, Harper James Solicitors announced the appointment of two Birmingham based partners, employment law expert Simon Gilmour, and corporate lawyer Adam Kudryl – bringing with them a wealth of experience specialising in mergers, acquisitions, contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Both previously occupied senior roles with other leading midlands law firms.

The duo joined commercial director Fran Davie, who heads the West Midlands arm of the firm and was previously a partner in the Birmingham office of global firm DLA Piper.

Davie commented: ’We are delighted to be moving to a larger premises so soon after attracting such talented lawyers as Simon and Adam. They have made a positive impact and are helping us to increase our profile in the region, and have already attracted a number of new clients.’
