A firm rapidly expanding across the south east has acquired a long-established neighbouring practice and ensured its 17 staff will be retained. Blaser Mills Law this week completed the purchase of Wycombe firm Reynolds Parry Jones (RPJ) to continue its growth strategy.

Following the acquisition, operations will continue under the Reynolds Parry Jones brand and from existing premises, where the firm has been based for 150 years.

Jonathan Lilley, partner and executive chairman at Blaser Mills Law, said: ‘We are proud to be in a position to make this acquisition during a period of such widespread uncertainty, and to help safeguard the jobs of Reynolds Parry Jones employees.

‘This purchase takes us another step forward in our growth plans and business strategy and demonstrates our commitment to delivering an excellent legal service to the Buckinghamshire region.’

Blaser Mills Law now five offices across various counties after five years of growth. This included the recruitment of senior lawyers into its commercial team and opening a central London office. By the end of the 2018/19 financial year it had grown to 117 employees, up from 96 the previous year.
