The Prayer Book Society exists to promote the use of the Book of Common Prayer (sometimes known as the 1662 Prayer Book) and to defend the worship and doctrine contained therein for this and future generations.

Diocesan branches uphold the orthodox, classical Anglicanism that has traditionally been at the heart of the Church of England. They provide members with regular meetings, Prayer Book services and advice on church matters.

Members receive five magazines a year and can avail themselves of books and literature from the trading arm of the Society. Donations are appreciated and needed.
