International firm Taylor Wessing has reported a rise in UK net profit, profits per equity partner (PEP) and UK and global revenue for the year ending 30 April 2019.

According to 2018/19 unaudited financial results, Taylor Wessing’s UK net profit grew by 10% to £62.6m after corporation tax, while PEP is up by 13%, from £579,000 to £655,230.

UK revenue increased by 8% to £156.6m, its highest ever level of growth, and global revenue rose by 13% to £339.7m. 

UK managing partner Shane Gleghorn said: ‘The results are very pleasing because we have achieved this high level of profitability in a year that has seen a substantial increase in investment in our business.

‘We achieved strong growth in areas such as patents, data and cybersecurity, private wealth, real estate and employment.’
